I am a secondary math specialist for a large public school district in Texas. I am also a coach’s wife and mom of 2 boys. I deliver professional development seminars, work with schools to implement PLCs and instructional coaching practices, and collaborate with teachers to plan and incorporate both content-based and SEL strategies in their classroom. I also present nationally for the Bureau of Education and Research and have been published in Edutopia. Before becoming a math specialist, I taught high school math and was a department dean, traveled as a Fulbright scholarship recipient, and was awarded campus teacher of the year. I graduated with my Bachelors in Arts in Mathematics and Masters in Teaching from Trinity University.
I love empowering teachers to build on their strengths and helping students make connections to what they’re learning.
