Excited to share this article I had the opportunity to write for @edutopia, “How to Embed SEL into Your Instruction.” In it, I crafted some sample language for each of CASEL’s 5 core competencies as well as some thoughts around rephrasing questions to foster a more supportive classroom environment. I hope this can give some specific, practical ideas for SEL in the classroom. Check it out with the link in my bio!
This is one of my favorite things I’ve done recently to organize my desktop. Inspired by @affinitolit coaching challenge and after seeing another example from a fellow coach, I turned my desktop into something that brings me joy! It used to be so cluttered and a bit overwhelming to look at. But now, I love the organized, clean look...and I don’t mind if anyone happens to see when virtually sharing my screen!
Excited to “reveal” this new resource I created that I’m calling, Slide to Reveal. As students work through a problem, they can slide the circles at the bottom to show 2 scaffolded hints and then the last circle slides to check their answer.
